Join us over the weekend and gain first-hand experience in two traditional crafts practiced in Tsubame-Sanjo:
— Sanjo Blacksmith Dojo — May, 27th (Sat) and 28th (Sun)
Work with local craftmen and make a Santoku knife personalised with your choice of kanji in this whole day workshop.
— Gyokusendo — May, 28th (Sun) only
Make a copper plate and engrave your own design using techniques created by this world-famous metalsmithing factory.
For those wishing to do both experiences, we have arranged accommodation at Craftsman Inn KAJI in Sanjo.
Limited to 30 participants:-

10x for copper plate-making (Sunday afternoon) – ￥1,000
10x for both experiences (all day Saturday and Sunday morning, including accommodation) – ￥9,000
